The tiger finally made his official appearance in his habitat on the LSU campus after a few days of having LSU veterinarians watch over him closely in his new home. Mike IV, V and VI were also donated to the university from rescue facilities. Mike VI, LSU's former mascot, died of cancer in October 2016. A tiger mascot has not been purchased since Mike III in 1958. (more...)

McDonald's India , the hamburger and fast food restaurant chain has chose to terminate the franchise agreement for 169 fast-food outlets in north and east India run by Connaught Plaza Restaurant Ltd (CPRL). "This is a completely contemptuous, malafide and yet another oppressive act indulged in by the McDonald's", Mr Bakshi was quoted as saying.
