Firefighters rushed to the scene of the 6:15 a.m. crash at the intersection of Northern Blvd. and Main St. and worked furiously to remove people from the buses and get them to nearby hospitals. There is a "heavy presence of emergency personnel" in the area, NYC's Office of Emergency Management tweeted. Pictures from the scene showed swarms of firefighters around the two buses. (more...)
