The National Weather Service office in Paducah has issued a severe weather statement about Sunday's thunderstorm chances. Sunday will be partly sunny with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Any fog should give way to sunny skies and slightly warmer temperatures. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. A couple of upper-level storms will move through as well over the weekend and this will lead to at least two rounds of widespread shower and thunderstorm activity.
