In an address to his ruling party's provincial leaders on Friday, Erdogan said his and Ataturk's names were placed on a "table" listing "enemies" during the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation drills. Some Turkish media speculated that his comments indicated that images of Ataturk and Erdogan had been used for target practice in the exercise. He was a civilian contractor seconded by Norway and not a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation employee. (more...)

It is not known how the woman got to Kankakee County or why she was here. She was last seen early Monday morning after working at Woody's bar, 1005 E. The missing person's case was then handed over to the Will County Sheriff's Office to investigate. Detectives say they believe she was the intended target and there is no threat to the community.
